The Kardashians cameo would be 'ludicrous' for Meghan Markle, insists royal expert – The Mirror

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been busy building a life and celebrity status within California, with some comments suggesting that they could potentially rub shoulders in future with reality stars like Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner as part of The Kardashians
As Meghan Markle and Prince Harry build a life for themselves in the US, the idea that they could ever appear on a reality show like The Kardashians has been slammed.
A royal expert who reported on Prince Harry whilst he was still a working member of the British royal family has dismissed the idea that he or wife Meghan Markle would ever appear in a reality series, despite now 'embracing life as La La land celebs'. Former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond has slammed the idea, as she gave an interview to OK! magazine.
The idea of them appearing alongside Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Kylie Jenner and the rest of the Kardashian clan has been called 'ludicrous and rather demeaning' by the royal expert, as they criticised the idea of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex rubbing shoulders with the reality stars.

Bond, who reported on the Royal Family over the past 35 years and who's comments are internationally recognised, said: "They seem to have cut all ties with the Royal Family – except for Princess Eugenie – so it seems inevitable that they will now embrace lives as La La land celebs. Personally, I think it would be ludicrous and rather demeaning to appear in the Kardashians. I think they are better than that.
"I cannot imagine why Harry would want to invite the glare of reality TV into his life. Surely his only purpose in courting the publicity he so despises is to shine a light on the causes he cares about? Why invite more?"
The comments come after Meghan Markle and husband Prince Harry were recently spotted enjoying a holiday in the Caribbean without their two children, son Archie and daughter Lillibet.
The pair's couple vacation saw them visit Canouan in St Vincent and the Grenadines, both of which are regularly visited by the likes of Amal and George Clooney, Robert Downey Jr., Amy Schumer, Mark Walhberg and Leonardo DiCaprio. Accommodation on the island includes the Canouan Estate Resort and Villas, the Mandarin Oriental, and the Soho Beach House Canouan. Rooms at the lavish resorts start at $837 (£686) and rise to more than $9000-a-night (£7,300).
The former royal couple left the royal family in 2020, and have previously opened up on on life as part of 'The Firm' including allegations of racism and tensions in the family. In the past, Meghan has been vocal and claimed that members of the royal family expressed "concerns and conversations" about how dark her son Archie's skin would be before he was born.
She's also been honest about the harsh media scrutiny from the British press during her time as a working royal, and has explained how that affected her mental health to the point where she began having suicidal thoughts.
